Happy Canada Day
As we do every year, our group celebrated July 1st, 2011 at Hampton Beach, Nova Scotia.
The weather was perfect, with warm sun and clear skies moderated by a slight ocean breeze. Thoughts and conversations included how lucky we are to live in a wonderful country that is Canada. Our thoughts included the military one of the biggest reasons past and present that make it so.
Although the beach appears empty in this picture, there were many people coming and going, families, children and folks with their dogs, just enjoying the tranquility and charm of being by the ocean which is known as the Bay of Fundy.
It was a day to sit back and relax and just enjoy being here. NSCAVE and the RoseGarden hope your day was just as good.
We would also like to take this opportunity to wish our American friends a Happy July 4th which is their day coming this Monday.
