Screened

It struck me the other day how many screens we stare at daily. Not many minutes go by before we are looking at another screen.

As you get up in the morning, checking the time, does your clock have an LCD display? (1)

Grab that cup of coffee and head to the computer to check the latest. (2)

Did you turn the TV on too? (3)

As you leave the house, you remember to set the alarm this time. (4)

On the way to your appointment, program the GPS for the quickest route. (5)

Switch over to the touch screen radio and get some relaxing music on the satellite radio. (6)

Stop by the bank machine for some extra cash just in case. (7)

Appointment finished, put coins in the parking meter by the building supply store. (8)

Talk to the neighbour as you proceed through the checkout. (9)

Feeling a little frustrated because your credit card doesn't like the new tap terminal. (10)

On the road again, stop to buy gas, noticing the price has gone up. (11)

May as well go inside and get a lottery ticket. (12)

Your cell rings, now who the heck is that? Caller ID says it's the better half. (13)

You have to pick her and Mabel up at the restaurant. Just as you get there the waitress is showing them their bill on one of those fancy new electronic wireless handheld devices. No need to go to the cash register anymore. (14)

You check the weather on your tablet and realize it's only 10 o`clock. What  you don't realize is you have already looked at 15 screens, and the day isn't even half over. (15)
