First Ride - In The Back
Wink: A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well.
Yesterday's blog didn't make publication because of technical difficulties - me. Many years ago I drove ambulance for about a year and spent many hours and speedy trips in the driver's seat responding to various occurrences.
Last night I had my first trip in the back of one of those vehicles as a patient. Very strange to be on the opposite side of the scenario. I was amazed at the technology involved and the competence of the people involved, dedicated experts in every way. It was just so strange moving from the driver's seat to the back.
Nothing serious, it seems I suffered an inner ear problem. Its medical name is vertigo. From my point of view it was the most extreme dizziness I had ever experienced. I couldn't sit up, stand up and even lying down it seemed I was stationary and everything else spinning rapidly. My sons gave me the no refuse option of a ride to see "whatzamatta". After a shot and a short stay at the hospital I am back and the computer is stable now.
Note On Foggy Glasses
Further research indicates this was discovered near here in Sackville, Nova Scotia, when a person found his glasses fogged up when collecting money for delivering newspapers. Walking in backwards resulted in clear lens and some unique stares from customers.
