Have you looked at your toilet paper lately? No not then, while its in the package before its opened. The cardboard tubes that its rolled on are much larger.

Remember the ads of a few years back where they unrolled it and brand X had more sheets than brand Y. I bet they wouldn't want to do that today - compare a roll from yesteryear to one of today.

This is another way of giving less for more. On first look that big package on sale is a bargain, until you check the core. Not nearly as many usable sheets on that roll anymore.
