Notebook Computers for Everything

Speaking of notebook or laptop computers, they are almost the main stream now.

I use mine constantly, to read the news every morning, check correspondence whether by email or message, and for information when I want to know more about something.

In fact, I have pdf manuals for all the equipment I own on it. If I need to refer to the manual for anything from parts to how do you do that, it is very quick and efficient to bring it up on the screen.

Most recently I have started using my notebook to take notes when I am on the phone using Azz Cardfile. If I require reference information for anything, there it is quick and easy on the screen in front of me. No need to search for those scraps of paper and scrawled notes that you can hardly make out, but they made sense at the time.

The more I use the notebook, the more uses I find for it. I don't think it will replace the desktop entirely, for there are some things that just work better on the desktop setup. And there are some people that just can't adapt to reading everything off a screen.

For general reading and research the notebook is ideal. Well almost ideal - it doesn't work well in the bathroom. I guess I had better keep those weekly paper flyers coming.36_11_5
