F11 Is Not An Airplane
F11 is not an airplane, in this case it is a computer tip.
If you are looking around the internet with Firefox or Internet Explorer, F11 can be a useful keyboard shortcut. Very simply, it gives you full screen viewing. Full screen gives you a lot more real estate, meaning useful screen space.
You may not want to use it all the time, but in certain cases it makes viewing certain pages much more efficient and practical. Tool bars take up a lot of space, and you likely only use a couple things on them anyway.
Try it, hit F11. You will have a full screen view of the web page you are on as the tool bar goes floating out of sight to the top. Move your mouse to the top of the screen and the icons and tabs will reappear if needed.
Hit F11 again, and the screen returns to normal with the menu, icons and tabs in place as they were originally.
Us keyboard types use it as needed to fit the occasion. You will be surprised how much additional screen space it adds, instantly. You can switch back an forth at will so easily, with just one key press – F11.
